The photo on the left show the area as it is now.
The photos on the right were taken of the same area in the early 1900's.
It was hard to place where some of the old photos had been taken from,
 but today's photos are as accurate as possible.

Now - a B.C. ferry Dock.... Then -  the Smelter dock.

Vehicle tressel........Train trestle.
Now -  it loads Vehicles...Then -  it unloaded coke & loaded Copper.

Muesum..........Old School,
Now -  a Visitor center/Museum ....    Then -  the Crofton School.

Camping area...........Slag heap.
Now -  a scenic Camping area ....Then - believe it or not, a large powdered Slag heap!
